CENTA and Central Square Foundation to publish a book on teaching practices
CENTA and Central Square Foundation to publish a book on teaching practices, with chapters co-authored by winning teachers of the CENTA Teaching Professionals' Olympiad 2015 and 2016.
One of the very exciting prizes of the CENTA Teaching Professionals’ Olympiad TPO 2016 was a book on effective teaching practices, which was co-authored by 31 winning teachers. This book was facilitated by Central Square Foundation and provided the teachers a platform to share their knowledge and experience to a much wider audience. The book is currently under publication and will be launched on 5th September, 2017.
We hope to continue this tradition of providing the winners this unique opportunity. Even this year, each of the following winners will be invited to contribute to a book on great teaching practices (specific themes to be discussed later), to be curated and published by Central Square Foundation.
- Overall Top 10 national rank-holders.
- Subject Topper for each of the 17 subject tracks.
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank holders of each of the three Challenger tracks.
- Five additional winners serving in tough socio-economic settings, as decided by a panel.
A few winners from TPO 2018 will also be contributing to the book, providing a unique opportunity for winners from the two years to interact.
